Why it exists

Most product advice online is either a wall of specs or a wall of hype. The goal here is narrower and more useful: figure out what a thing is actually for, who it suits, and who should skip it.

How recommendations are chosen

Products are picked for a specific use case, not by commission rate. When a cheaper option is the right call, that's what gets recommended. Some links are affiliate links, which means a commission may be earned at no extra cost to you. That never changes which products get recommended.
